Sheriff's office reports nine recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported nine recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•James Anthony Lavergne, 34, 969 L’anse Bour Reuse Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 3, with DWI (fourth offense), expired MVI and suspended driver’s license. Lavergn was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
•Michael Joseph Vidrine, 21, 214 Blackwell St., Oakdale, was charged March 5, with possession of Schedule I, possession of Schedule IV, resisting an officer, battery on an officer and interfering with a police officer. Vidrine was released from jail on a $35,000 bond.
•Kerral Anderson, 63, 501 Court St., Ville Platte, was chraged March 5, with aggravated battery. Anderson was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
•Albert Jonathan Scott, 63, 1551 Lanse De Cavalier Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 5, with aggravated battery. Scott was released from jail on a $50,000 bond.
•Daniel Carter, 27, 1777 Highway 15, St. Landry, was charged March 5, with issuing worthless checks. Carter was released from jail on a $800 bond.
•Joey Lee Moran, 32, 1065 Ellen Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 7, with public intimidation, cyber stalking and simple assault on an officer. Moran was released from jail on a $10,500 bond.
•Anthony James Guillory, 38, 1930 Zackery St., Mamou, was charged March 9, with telephone harassment. Guillory was released from jail on a $200 bond.
•Albert Jonathan Scott, 63, 1551 Lanse De Cavalier Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 7, with attempted second degree murder. Scott was being held in jail on a $200,000 bond.
