Sheriff's office reports nine recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported nine recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Cody Kiniski Leday, 30, 1059 Rachel Dr., Ville Platte, was charged May 8, with forcible rape. Leday was being held in jail on a $100,000 bond at press time.
•Caleb Trevor Roberts, 22, 902 East St., Mamou, was charged May 8, with possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine. Roberts was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Akeem Mandez Williams, 25, 1067 Shorty Lane, Mamou, was charged May 8, with criminal damage to property. Williams was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Holly Ann AHart, 31, 1108 Euday St., Mamou, was charged May 9, with obstruction of justice. AHart was being held in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
•Deadre D. Roberts, 21, 129 E. Desoto St., Ville Platte, was charged May 9, with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Roberts was being held in jail on a $20,000 bond at press time.
•Bryce Eric McDaniel, 28, 7316 Highway 167 North, Ville Platte, was charged May 10, with DWI (second offense), speeding, reckless operation nd open container. McDaniel was being held in jail on a $2,301 bond at press time.
•Timothy James Vidrine, 25, 2055 W. Main St., Ville Platte, was charged May 12, with simple assault and criminal damage to property. Vidrine was being held in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
•Chandler Shay Matte, 21, 225 Stephanie St., Ville Platte, was charged May 12, with simple assault and criminal damage to property. Matte was being held in jail on a $7,500 at press time.
•Billy Ray Thomas, 51, 1017 Third St., Mamou, was charged May 12, with unauthorized use of an access card and theft. Thomas was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
