Sheriff's office reports seven recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported seven recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Tracy Lynn Lauterbach, 29, 4911 Kennedy St., Ville Platte, was charged December 10, with issuing worthless checks. Lauterbach was being held in jail on a $900 bond at press time.
•Jeremy Scott Whittington, 30, 1221 Happy Hollow Road, Ville Platte, was charged December 11, with simple battery. Whittington was released from jail on a $1,500 bond.
•Lawrence Lee Fontenot, 21, 118 Demourelle St., Ville Platte, was charged December 11, with domestic abuse battery and simple criminal damage to property. Fontenot was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Johnathan Joseph Ducote, 27, 136 Stephanie St., Ville Platte, was charged December 12, with domestic abuse battery, false imprisonment (three counts), simple battery and aggravated assault with a firearm. Ducote was released from jail on a $20,000 bond.
•Reggie Joseph Barras, 32, 1250 Zelda Lane, Douson, was charged December 10, with unauthorized use of an access card and theft (15 counts). Barras was being held in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
•Olivia Richard, 22, 5215 N. University, Lot 227, Carencro, was charged December 14, with resisting an officer. Richard was released from jail on a $2,000 bond.
•Johnathan James Gallow, 28, 102 W. Pine St., Ville Platte, was charged December 13, with theft of animals and simple criminal damage to property. Gallow was being held in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
