Ville Platte Police Department reports 14 recent arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported 14 arrests recently.
Arrested were the following:
•Megan Semien, 22, 190 Trinity Road, Opelousas, was charged March 19, with resisting an officer, driving under suspension and disobeying a stop sign. Semien was released on a $700 bond.
•Christopher Bellard, 47, 306 W. Lincoln Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 20, with disturbing the peace by intoxication. Bellard was released on a $400 bond.
•Ricky Joseph, 37, 1211 W. Hickory St., Ville Platte, was charged March 17, with loitering and resisting by flight. Joseph was released on a $1,750 bond.
•Jimmy Serie, 52, 268 Leone St., Ville Platte, was charged March 17, with resisting arrest by flight. Serie was released on a $750 bond.
•Darlene Jackson, 38, 707 N. Latour St., Ville Platte, was charged March 21, with criminal damage to property. Jackson was released on a $700 bond.
•Willie Jones Jr., 26, 411 Martin Luther King Drive, Ville Platte, was charged March 21, with disturbing the peace by loud music. Jones was released on a $250 bond.
•Michael Brooks, 44, 1186 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged March 21, with disturbing the peace. Brooks was released on a $200 bond.
•Keenen Ardoin, 23, Dr. Carver St., Ville Platte, was charged March 15, with resisting by flight and disturbing the peace. Ardoin was released on a $1,000 bond.
•Donald James, 42, 119 Armand St., Ville Platte, was charged March 25, with resisting an officer. James was released on a $700 bond.
•Kimberly Freeman, 36, 1274 First St., Ville Platte, was charged March 15, with child desertion (four counts). Freeman was released on a $2,000 bond.
•Elvina Lafleur, 50, 601 Laran St., Ville Platte, was charged March 20, with simple battery and theft. Lafleur remained incarcerated on a $1,000 bond.
•Racquel Roberts, 20, 307 S. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged March 21, with theft of goods. Roberts was released on a $500 bond.
•Andrus Freeman, 34, 323 E. Pine St., Ville Platte, was charged March 26, with possession of marijuana. Freeman was released on a $2,500 bond.
•Melvin Watson, 64, 508 Martin Luther King Drive, Ville Platte, was charged March 21, with disturbing the peace by intoxication. Watson was released on a $200 bond.
