Ville Platte police report five arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported five arrests recently.
Arrested were the following:
•Sandra Gallo, 44, 121 E. LaSalle St., Ville Platte, was charged October 2, with theft of utilities (two counts) and possession of a stolen water meter. Gallo was released on a $500 bond.
•Degan Labbe, no age given, 706 E. Beauregard, Ville Platte, was charged October 2, with theft of utilities. Labbe was released on a $500 bond.
•Brian Thomas, 33, 1813 State Ave., Ville Platte, was charged October 3, with careless operation. Thomas was released on a $200 bond.
•Pearline Williams, 43, 111 W. Hickory St., Ville Platte, was charged October 4, with simple battery. Williams was released on a $500 bond.
•Elin Thomas, 47, 1535 W. Blake St., Ville Platte, was charged October 6, with aggravated assault and simple battery. Thomas was released on a $1,500 bond.
•Hanna Thomas, 27, 618 McNabb St., Ville Platte, was charged October 4, with possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal damage to property and disturbing the peace. Thomas was released on a $6,500 bond.
