VPPD Arrest Reports

Ville Platte Police Departement reported 16 recent bookings into the city jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Mary Lee, 23, 123 Jaco Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on April 18, 2016 for theft by shoplifting and remaining after forbidden. Lee was released from jail on a $1,000.00 bond.
•Ashlyn Lee, 25, 4414 Opelousas Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on April 18, 2016 for theft by shoplifting. Lee was released from jail on $1,000.00 bond.
•Corneilas Fontenot, 22, 2930 Kenneth St., Ville Platte, was arrested on April 19, 2016 for obstruction of passage and resisting by fighting. Fontenot remains incarcerated on a $950.00 bond.
•Travis Leday, 32, was arrested on April 24, 2016 for entry or remaining after being forbidden. Leday remains incarcerated on a $500.00 bond.
•Najha Lefday, 17, 1519 Division Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on April 27, 2016 for theft of goods and criminal damage to property. Leday was released from jail on a $1,200.00 bond.
•Laminska West, 18, 812 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was arrested on April 29, 2016 for simple battery. West was released from jail on a $750 bond.
•Victoria Charlie, 18, 704 E. Jefferson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on April 30, 2016 for drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute schedule I. Charlie was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
•Terrance Skinner, 42, 517 Young St., Ville Platte, was arrested on April 30, 2016 for driving under suspended. Skinner was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
•Merril Fontenot, 49, 3799 Opelousas Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 1, 2016 for driving under suspension. Fontenot was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
•James Castille, 33, 1349 Belaire Cove Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 1, 2016 for no reflective gear. Castille was released from jail on a $200.00 bond.
•Kealogah Calvin, 17, 626 Court St., Ville Platte, was arrested May 2, 2016 for disturbing the peace. Calvin was released on a $200.00 bond.
•Jordan Durgin, 24, 1316 W. Live Oak St., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 3, 2016 for resisting an officer and loitering. Durgin was released from jail on a $1,000.00 bond.
•Jared Doucet, 24, 1303 W. Live Oak St., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 3, 2016 for resisting arrest and loitering. Doucet was released from jail on $1,000.00 bond.
•Nicholas Gobert, 17, 705 McArthur St., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 4, 2016 for trespassing, simple assault, disturbing the peace, and possession of a schedule I.
•Degan Labbe, 33, 619 Vidrine St., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 4, 2016 for resisting an officer and disturbing the peace. Labbe was released from jail on a $950.00 bond.
•Angela Roger, 25, 608 Fontenot St., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 4, 2016 for false swearing, Roger was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
