VPPD reports eight recent arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported 15 arrests recently.
Arrested were the following:
•Lee Ethel Leday, 45, 612 S. Fontenot St., Ville Platte, was charged March 3, with aggravated battery, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest (two counts). Leday was released on a $1,950 bond.
•Ikoem Edwards, 20, 107 Rev. E.D. Alfred, Ville Platte, was charged March 4, with simple battery. Edwards was released on a $500 bond.
•Richard Clark, 45, 159 Truman St., Ville Platte, was charged February 28, with domestic abuse battery. Clark was released on a $1,000 bond.
•Trista Joubert, 39, 1132 Brittany Road, Ville Platte, was charged February 27, with theft of goods. Joubert was released on a $500 bond.
•Dwayne West, 49, 713 Rozas St., Ville Platte, was charged March 8, with no reflective gear and public intoxication. West remained incarcerated on a $400 bond.
•Templeton Guillory, 30, 713 Rozas St., Ville Platte, was charged March 9, with possession of drug paraphernalia, loitering, flight from an officer (four counts) and no reflective gear. Guillory remained incarcerated on a $5,950 bond.
•John Adams, 44, 816 Derouen St., Ville Platte, was charged March 5, with disturbing the peace. Adams was released on a $200 bond.
•Shelli Rollins, 25, 715 W. Oak St., Ville Platte, was charged March 10, with disturbing the peace by profanity. Rollins was released on a $200 bond.
•Ricky Fontenot, 44, 114 E. Pine St., Ville Platte, was charged March 8, with public intoxication. Fontenot was released on a $200 bond.
