Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office lists 22 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 22 bookings recently in the parish jail.

Arrested were the following:

•Melissa Renee Gauthier, 39, 1428 Traffic Lane, Ville Platte, was charged April 16, with aggravated cruelty to animals. Gauthier was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.

•Holden Vondrika Ardoin, 24, 1188 Abraham Ave., Ville Platte, was charged April 17, with illegal possession of stolen things, accessory after the fact for simple burglary, accessory after the fact for theft and resisting an officer. Ardoin was being held in jail on a $35,000 bond.

•Christopher John Bergeron, 29, 1591 Tate Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged April 17, with forgery. Bergeron remained in jail on a $10,000 bond.

•Kevin James Rider, 31, 2377 Woodmen Drive, Ville Platte, was charged April 17, with possession of methyphenidate and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rider was being held in jail on a $12,000 bond.

•Kyheen Freeman, 22, 411 W. Cypress St., Ville Platte, was charged April 17, with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and resisting an officer. Freeman was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond.

•Willbert Ceasar, 43, 350 McArthur Drive, Eunice, was charged April 17, with theft over $500 and malfeasance in office. Ceasar was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond.

•Tammie Ann Murphy, 22, 1030 W. Ash St., Eunice, was charged April 18, with theft and illegal possession of stolen things. Murphy was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond.

•Sampson Stevens Jr., 53, 313 Wilson Drive, Eunice, was charged April 18, with theft and possession of stolen things. Stevens was being held in jail on a $7,500 bond.

•Sylvia Yvonne Reeves, 18, 2132 East St., Mamou, was charged April 19, with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and theft. Reeves was released from jail on a $75,000 bond.

•Brandy Marie Bordelon, 20, 405 East St., Mamou, was charged April 20, with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and theft. Bordelon was released from jail on a $75,000 bond.

•Ronald Lee Hebert, 46, 316 South St., Mamou, was charged April 19, with domestic abuse battery. Hebert remained in jail at press time on a $5,000 bond.

•Harry Lee Pendleton Jr., 111 N. Hodges St., Lake Charles, was charged April 19, with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Pendleton was being held in jail at press time on a $20,000 bond.

•Jennifer Wanda Joseph, 21, 1159 Abraham Ave., Ville Platte, was charged April 20, with speeding (93 mph in a 45 mph zone) and reckless operation. Joseph was released from jail on a $685.50 bond.

•Crystal Brook Lafleur, 31, 4382 Opelousas Road, Ville Platte, was charged April 20, with reckless operation, resisting arrest, battery of a trooper and DWI (first offense). Lafleur was released from jail on a $2,500 bond.

•Freida S. Maricle, 63, 909 Cherry St., Apt. 39, Mamou, was charged April 20, with distribution of Schedule IV. Maricle was being held in jail on a $20,000 bond.

•Brooke Renee Coincon, 21, 906 W. LaSalle St., Ville Platte, was charged April 20, with careless operation, suspended driver’s license and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Coincon remained in jail on a $2,434 bond.

•Brandon Lee Rea, 26, 3150 Hill Top Lane, Ville Platte, was charged April 21, with DWI (second offense), careless operation and suspended driver’s license. Rea was released from jail on a $2,434 bond.

•Jason Edward Buxton, 39, 1314 N. Seventh St., Oakdale, was charged April 22, with possession with intent to distribute hydrocodone and possession of hydrocodone. Buxton was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.

•Thomas Vidrine Jr., 62, 1069 Midway Drive, Ville Platte, was charged April 22, with distribution of Schedule IV controlled dangerous substance (two counts), possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal carrying of a weapon. Vidrine was being held in jail on a $90,000 bond.

•Billy Ray Thomas, 50, 228 Young St., Ville Platte, was charged April 22, with prohibited acts Schedule IV penalties. Thomas was being held on a $20,000 bond.

•Jeremiah Lee Mann, 28, 6925 Old Mayfield Road, Paducah, Kentucky, was charged April 22, with indecent behavior with a juvenile, computer aided solicitation of a minor and pornography involving juveniles. Mann was being held in jail on a $150,000 bond.

•Michael Dewayne Fontenot Jr., 1215 S. Berwick Ave., Basile, was charged April 23, with DWI (second offense), stop sign violation and reckless operation. Fontenot was being held in jail on a $2,159 bond at press time.
