Arvie retires from KBR

Carlton Arvie Jr., the third son of 11 children of the late Carlton Arvie Sr. and Irene (Fontenot) Arvie, recently retired from KBR after a 45-year career as a certified welder. While growing up in Chataignier, he attended Carver Elementary School and James Stephens High School. He also served as a faithful deacon at St. Joseph Baptist Church in Chataignier. He is currently residing in Houston, Texas, with his wife of 42 years, Carilyn. He enjoys fishing and hunting.
