Deck the City Hall

Ville Platte City Hall, located in the old American Security Bank on Main Street, is all decked out for the Christmas season.
The display includes 50 individually decorated trees, 22 reindeer, 150 poinsettias and more than 20,000 lights.
The public is invited to come out and see the decorations, and City Hall is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The display takes city workers a month to set up, and the centerpiece is a 15 foot tree surrounded by lighted reindeer and poinsettias.
