Mr. Johnson, Miss Limoges united in holy matrimony

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington provided the setting for a lovely evening ceremony on Saturday, October 29, 2016 uniting Miss Kimberlyn Nicole Limoges and Mr. Logan Alexander Johnson in holy matrimony, with Father Jared Suire officiating.
The bride, of Ville Platte, is the daughter of Karen Antilla of Pine Prairie and Joseph Limoges of Vidrine.
The groom, of Ville Platte, is the son of Jody and Leslie Johnson of Grand Prairie.
The church was beautifully decorated in a simple theme with ivory organza bows accented with black, gold and ivory feathers set as pew markers, using the church’s natural beauty.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in her Bernadette by Maggie Sottero dress. The a-lined gown, with a keyhole back, featured a light gold underlay with an ivory lace overlay, accented with rhinestone defining line under the bust. The bride completed her look with ivory pearl and rhinestone earrings and bracelet and an elegant updo.
The bride’s large bouquet of antique gold and ivory roses with small ivory feathers featured a variety of brooches with an ivory ribbon lace handle and an oval rhinestone pendant.
The bride’s mother wore a fitted, long, black gown with side ruching and a sheer gold neckline decorated with silver and gold jewels. She accessorized her look with hanging gold and rhinstone earrings and bracelet and nude heels.
The groom’s mother wore a knee-length, navy blue lace dress with a belt featuring a rhinestone buckle, and her attire was completed with a three-fourth sleeve jacket. She accessorized her outfit with silver jewelery and silver heels.
Carrie Aucoin of Ville Platte served as maid of honor for the special occasion. Jessica Miller of Pine Prairie served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kailey Soileau, the bride’s sister, of Pine Prairie, Grace Johnson, the groom’s sister, of Grand Prairie, Shelby Fontenot, the bride’s cousin, of Lafayette, Kaitlyn Fontenot, of Ville Platte, Lacey Vidrine, of Rayne, Fallan Ortego, of Ville Platte, Shawney Mouton, of Port Barre, Shawna Fontenot, of Bayou Chicot, and Ashley Ardoin, of Ville Platte.
All of the bridesmaids, including the maid of honor and the matron of honor, wore black and nude lace dresses with keyhole backs designed by Betsy Adams. Each attendant carried a bouquet of gold and ivory roses with small black feathers and small brooches with a gold ribbon handle and a cameo pendant.
Dexter Thibodeaux of St. Benedict served as best man for the special occasion.
Groomsmen were Ross Johnson, the groom’s brother, of Carencro, Dominic Johnson, the groom’s brother, of Ville Platte, Luke Johnson, the groom’s brother, of Grand Prairie, Korey Limoges, the bride’s brother, of Ville Platte, Kyle Huval, of Eunice, Jorden Duplechain, of Ville Platte, Cody Lafleur, of Iota, Mitch Schexnider, of Kaplan, and Adam Joubert, of Church Point.
Joshua Fontenot and Johnny Broussard served as ushers.
Flower girls were Sophi Miller and Lola Castille, and ring bearer was Brody Broussard.
A reception followed the church ceremony.
Wolff Ballroom in Washington served as the location for the reception, and the venue was beautifully decorated in a 1920s, Great Gatsby and old Hollywood, classic glamour theme featuring antique gold and ivory roses, ivory lace, pearls, glitter, sequins and feathers.
Following a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple has made their home in Ville Platte.
