T-Boy wins at Louisiana Boudin Cook-off again

T-Boy pulled in top honors again this year at the Louisiana Boudin Cook-off in Lafayette on October 16. His entry was named first place in the People’s Choice category. T-Boy earned the first place People’s Choice award in the 2012 cook-off, as well as the first place Specialty award and the first place Traditional boudin award. His recipe won the second place Traditional award at the Louisiana Boudin Cook-off in 2008; second place People’s Choice in 2009 and 2010; and the first place People’s Choice in 2011.Here, he shows the winning plaque in his busy Mamou store, T-Boy’s Slaughterhouse, while, in the background, his son T-Brent, left, and employee Eric Soileau prepare a specialty meat order.
