La. DOTD receives $60 million from federal government

Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has announced that the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has recently received $60.8 million in addition federal fund for highway projects.

The 2017 Louisiana Cotton Festival got off to a great start with Cotton Pickin Pet Show and the Cotton Food Fest held Wednesday, October 11 at the Civic Center.

VILLE PLATTE -- For the second week in a row the Sacred Heart Trojans took care of business and blasted past their opponent, as they took a 47-14 win over district opponent Slaughter Charter.
With the win, Sacred Heart improved to 6-2 on the year and 3-2 in league play.
