Gueydan - Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, 2008 at a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Mazie S. Dupree, 77, who died June 17, 2008 at her home in Gueydan.

She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Rev. Mitchell Guidry officiating the services.

She is survived by three sons, Ralph Dupree and his wife Amy, Dewey Dupree Jr. and his wife Martha and Gregory Dupree and his wife Darlene, all of Gueydan, one daughter, Maxine Perrin and her companion, Paul Hebert of Gueydan, one brother, Emery James Smith of Gueydan, one sister, Francis Vinet of Pearl River; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grand children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Dupree Sr., parents, Gabriel Smith and the former Lena Milliman, five brothers and three sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 311 Fourth Street, Gueydan, Thursday, June 19 from 10 a.m. until services on Friday, June 20. A rosary will be prayed Thursday at 7 p.m.

All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan (356-6154).
