Troupe d’Evangeline to hold auditions for next production Thursday, February 26

Troupe d’Evangeline Community Theatre will be holding auditions on Thursday, February 26, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the warehouse located behind the Ville Platte town square. Auditions will be for an “I Love Lucy” themed murder mystery. There are seven speaking roles and three non-speaking roles. Someone is needed who can do a “killer” (pun intended) Lucy impression, as well as Ricky, Ethel and Fred. In addition to these well-known characters, several other roles are available, including a male character, two female characters and three non-speaking parts. Ages teen to adult are needed to fill the roles. Those wishing to audition do not need to have a monologue memorized for the audition, just stop by the warehouse at the given time and you will be given a script to read for the part in which you’re interested.
