ANNEZIE GUILLORY

VILLE PLATTE-Funeral services for Annezie Guillory, 77, will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Visitation will be observed on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Owens-Thomas Funeral Home in Ville Platte. Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Father Taj Glodd will conduct the funeral service.
Guillory passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas.
Those left to mourn her departure, yet cherish the legacy of Guillory are two daughters, Darlene Guillory (Melvin) Davis, of Opelousas, and Evelyn Guillory (Henry) Alfred, of Ville Platte; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Rashauna, Wanakee, Aaron, Henry BG, and Joskie; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonce Neopolian Richard and Rita B. Richard; six brothers and three sisters.
