Bessie Ledoux

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Bessie Ledoux, 95, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 3 p.m., Monday, April 13. Burial followed in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Ms. Ledoux died Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the River Oaks Retirement Manor in Lafayette.
Survivors include her husband of 76 years, Burney Ledoux of the VA Nursing Home in Alexandria; three children, Dr. Harold Ledoux and his wife, Gayle, of Lafayette, Craig Ledoux and his wife, Lynette, of Burleson, Texas, and Judi Ledoux Stikeleather of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Toney Stikeleather.
Father Mark Melancon officiated.
