Daniel Joseph Mouton

TURKEY CREEK - Funeral services were held for Daniel Joseph Mouton, 19, of Turkey Creek, at the Lake Cove Baptist Church at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 28. Burial followed in the Turkey Creek Cemetery.
A loving son, father, brother, grandson, great-grandson, uncle and friend, Mr. Mouton died Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at his residence in Lone Pine. He worked as a lineman for T&D Solutions.
Survivors include his mother, Tonya McWhirter of Turkey Creek; his father, Rory Mouton and his wife, Julie, of West Monroe; one son, Mason Connor Chaddrick Mouton of Lineville, Alabama; two brothers, Josh Guillory of Opelousas and Justin Mouton of Turkey Creek; two sisters, Katlyn Mouton Billings and her husband, Zachary, of Turkey Creek and Jordyn Gracie Mouton of West Monroe; his fiancee’, Crystal Laborde of Lone Pine; his maternal grandparents, Winczel and Linda McWhirter of Turkey Creek; his maternal great-grandmother, Yvonne King of Lake Cove; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ivy and Belva Mouton; and one aunt, Vickie Lebeau.
Pall bearers were Zachary Billings, Bubba Clark, Levi Bourque, Corey Deville, Shey Deshotel and Owens King. Honorary pall bearer was Justin Mouton.
Rev. Jack Osteen officiated.
White Oaks Funeral Home of Oakdale was in charge of arrangements.
