Doris Ruth Leger Clark

Funeral services were held for Doris Ruth Leger Clark, 75, of Lafayette, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Pine Prairie at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 30. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Ms. Clark died Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital in Lafayette. She was an active member of St. Edmond’s Catholic Church in Lafayette. She was also a past member and president of the Christian Women’s Club of Lafayette. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Curtis Clark of Lafayette; two sons, Dr. Roderick Clark and his wife, Dr. Tina, of Lafayette and Vince Clark of Jennings; two brothers, Samuel Leger and his wife, Cheryl, and Stanley Leger and his wife, Pearline, all of Turkey Creek; and two sisters, Janet Thibodeaux and her husband, Harold, of Vinton and Nell Soileau and her husband, Nolan, of Pine Prairie. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her four grandchildren whom she greatly loved and adored, Christopher Clark, Cassie Clark, Chase Clark and Ava Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Beulah Deville Leger.
