Geraldine “Chick” Fogle

Funeral services will be held for Geraldine “Chick” Fogle, 91, of Ville Platte, at the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 17. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Ms. Fogle died Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at her residence.
Survivors include one son, Robert Fogle Jr. of Lafayette; two daughters, Sherrie Veillon and Melanie Fogle of Ville Platte; one sister, Jenny Nicholas of Ville Platte; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Fogle Sr.; and her parents, Ellie and Ollie Fontenot Duos.
Visitation will be held today, October 17, from 8 a.m., until the time of services, and a Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m.
Father Mitch Guidry will officiate.
