JEANNE GAHN

MAMOU- Funeral Services was held at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial for Jeanne Gahn, 82, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Monday, September, 25, 2017. Jeanne passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Savoy Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones.
Father Mitch Guidry, Pastor at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, celebrated the mass and conducting the funeral services.
Burial took place in New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
Her memories will live on through her family. Jeanne is survived by her son, Gary Gahn of Mamou; daughters, Roberta Kissel of Alexandria, Pamela Gahn Fontenot and husband, Thad of Mamou, Theresa M. Gahn of Gonzales, and Sabrina Zaunbrecher and husband, Matthew of Gueydan; sisters, Jeanette Fontenot of Sulphur, and Robbie Beazley and husband, Charles of Lafayette; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Brian Gahn; parents, Calise Gary and wife, Marguerite; sons, Brian Gahn and Michael Gahn, and brother, Connie Mack Gary.
The family requested that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. A rosary was recited by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Visitation resumed Monday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
