LOUISA - Funeral services will be held for Michael Notto, 64, of Ville Platte, at St. John Baptist Church in Ville Platte at 7 p.m., Friday, May 16. Burial will be held Saturday, May 17, in the St. Helen Cemetery in Louisa.
Mr. Notto died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Freeman Notto of Ville Platte; one son, Michael Notto II (Ayanna) of Lafayette; five daughters, Charlotte Anderson (Marvin) and Dawn Lee (Quincy), both of Lafayette, Latisha Lazard (Dennis) of Opelousas and Ranotti Freeman and Janiah Freeman, both of Ville Platte; three brothers, Melvin Notto and Darrell Notto (Belva), both of Franklin, and Vence Notto (Taz) of Lake Charles; six sisters, Evelyn Notto, Robin Landry (Lawrence) and Charlene Young (Phillip), all of Glencoe, Diane Garrett (Nathan) of Spring, Texas, and Faye Olivier (Rocky) and Sandra Washington (Gregory), both of LaPlace; two best friends, Paul O’Connor of Lake Charles and Leonard Francis of Glencoe; 13 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Notto and Anna Bell Ledet Notto; and one brother, Leo Notto Jr.
Visiting hours will be observed from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, May 16, at St. John Baptist Church in Ville Platte.
Rev. Allen Freeman will officiate.
