Robert Wayne Deville Sr.

Funeral services were held for Robert Wayne Deville Sr., 62, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 31. Burial followed in the Eternal Rest Cemetery.
A loving father, brother, grandfather and friend, Mr. Deville died Sunday, March 29, 2015.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Wayne Deville Jr. and his wife, Melissa, of Vidrine and Johnny O. Deville and his wife, Liz, of Lake Charles; two daughters, Joanna Deville and her fiancé, Terry Gene Soileau, and Allison Rene Fontenot and her husband, Jade, all of Ville Platte; one brother, Gerald Deville of Ville Platte; and one sister, Shirley Andrus of Pine Prairie. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his eight grandchildren, Ashley Blanchard, Summer Fontenot, Hunter Fontenot, Anna and Zachery Deville, Angelle Deville, Nicholas Deville and Kenneth Deville; and four great-grandchildren, Brayden Blanchard, Landon Blanchard, Alexis Blanchard and Waylon Blanchard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Deville; his parents, Olin Deville and Relice Fontenot; one sister, Geraldine Deville; and two brothers, Rayford Deville and Roland McDaniel.
Father Mitchell Guidry officiated.
