Morgan City Man Arrested for Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor

ST. MARY PARISH- A Morgan City man is in jail for charges relating to computer aided solicitation of a minor following a month long State Police investigation.

In early December 2013 State Police Detectives received information which indicated that 44-year-old Charles Fish of Morgan City, had inappropriate physical contact with a juvenile under the age of 16. During the course of the investigation, Detectives learned that Fish used an electronic device to solicit the juvenile for sexual purposes. Based on their investigation a warrant for Fish’s arrest was obtained.

On the night of January 3, 2014, Detectives, assisted by Morgan City Police and Berwick Police, arrested Fish at his home in Morgan City without incident. He was booked into the Berwick City Jail for indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer aided solicitation of a minor.

This remains under investigation.
