Two children reported missing in New Orleans

Update: Louisiana State Police have cancelled the Level II Endangered/Missing Child Media Advisory for Cylie and Caden McCullum. Both children have been located. The investigation is ongoing and further inquiries should be directed the New Orleans Police Department.

The Louisiana State Police has issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Media Advisory on behalf of the New Orleans Police Department for two children reported missing overnight.

Cylie Nicole McCullum is a 3 year old black female. She has black hair, brown eyes and is approximately 2’0” tall and weighs 25 pounds. She was last seen wearing a princess pajama shirt. Caden Nicholas McCullum is a 5 year old black male. He has black hair, brown eyes and is approximately 3’0” tall and weighs 35 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white tank top shirt.

Both children are believed to be with their biological mother, Michelle McCullum. Michelle is a 25 year old black female with black hair, brown eyes and is approximately 5’0” tall and weighs 190 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and gray shorts.

Michelle, Cylie, and Caden may be traveling in a dark blue 2014 Nissan Murano bearing Louisiana license plate YPZ788. They were last seen on May 13, 2015 around 10:00 p.m. in the 1200 block of Treme Street in New Orleans, LA.

Authorities have reason to believe Michelle McCullum is armed with a handgun and that Cylie and Caden are in danger.

Anyone having any information as to the whereabouts of Cylie, Caden, or Michelle McCullum should immediately contact their local police department utilizing 911 or the New Orleans Police Department at 504-821-2222.
