Streets rerouted for Sunday parade

St. Martinville — Police Chief Paula Smith wishes to inform the public about traffic changes that will take effect Sunday afternoon during the New Comers’ parade.

Smith said parade-goers will not be allowed to park on Main Street along the parade route. She advises that vehicles will be towed away at the owner’s expense.

Also, the following streets will be rerouted into one-way streets from Port Street to Denier Street:

•Dr. Martin Luther King Drive (south bound traffic only)

•Theater Street (north bound traffic only).
