Mr. Devillier, Miss Aucoin united in holy matrimony

The Belaire Cove Fire Station provided the setting for a lovely 3 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, March 12, 2016, uniting Miss Elizabeth Renee’ Aucoin and Mr. Shawn Ryan Devillier in holy matrimony, with Rev. Kevin West officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Eugene Aucoin Jr. of Bayou Chicot and Terri Hunley of St. Landry. The groom is the son of Debra Reed Devillier of Ville Platte.
The wedding’s fireman theme was enhanced with red, black and white decorations. The bride and maid of honor were each escorted to the ceremony’s location in their own fire truck.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was lovely in her strapless, A-line, ivory-colored gown accented with a beaded bustline and beaded train. She wore a pearl necklace and earring set to complete her attire.
The bride carried a bouquet of red and black roses accented with white calla lilies.
Chelsey Renee’ Gautreaux of Bayou Chicot, the bride’s daughter, served as maid of honor for the special occasion. She wore a red knee-length dress accented with a black necklace and earring set and carried a bouquet of white and cream hydrangeas accented with red calla lilies.
Hunter Soileau of Belaire Cove served as best man for the afternoon ceremony.
For her daughter’s special day, the bride’s mother chose a yellow, tea-length dress accented with navy blue jewelry.
The groom’s mother chose a peach-colored pant suit accented with embellishments.
A reception immediately followed at the fire station.
