Mr. Montelaro, Miss Fontenot plan May nuptials

The engagement of Miss Sarah Nicole Fontenot to Mr. Salvadore Ricardo Montelaro, the son of Kirk and Jahn Montelaro of Mamou, has been announced by her parents, Barry and Stephanie Fontenot of Ville Platte.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, May 2, 2015, during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte.
Miss Fontenot, whose mother is the former Stephanie Johnson of Pitkin, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Crockett Johnson, Mr. Norman Glenn Fontenot and the late Ms. Dorothy Fontenot. A 2010 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte, she received a degree in chemistry from McNeese State University in Lake Charles in 2014. She is currently employed as a research and development chemist with Natural Advantage in Oakdale.
Mr. Montelaro’s mother is the former Jahn Reed of Mamou. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Reed and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Montelaro.
A 2008 graduate of Mamou High School, he received a degree in industrial electronics from T.H. Harris Technical College in 2008. He is currently employed with TRACO Quality Companies.
