Mr. West, Miss Willis plan May nuptials

The engagement of Miss Kaci Danielle Willis to Mr. Elliott Quint West, the son of Quint and Roxane West of Pine Prairie, has been announced by her parents, Matthew and Angela Willis of Elizabeth.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, May 7, 2016, during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at the Juliette Plantation in Boyce.
Miss Willis, whose mother is the former Angela Johnson of Elizabeth, is the granddaughter of Gamis and Nelda Johnson, Mabel Willis and the late Dan Willis.
A 2010 graduate of Starks High School and 2015 graduate of Louisiana College in Pineville, she is currently employed with the Vernon Parish School Board as an elementary physical education teacher and basketball and softball coach at Simpson High School.
Mr. West’s mother is the former Roxane Barbo of Pine Prairie. He is the grandson of William (Bill) West and Irmus West of Pine Prairie, the late Betty Faye West and Ebby and Lorraine Perrodin of Ville Platte.
A 2006 graduate of Pine Prairie High School and 2010 graduate of Louisiana College in Pineville, he is currently employed with the Rapides Parish School Board as a middle school science and physical education teacher and boys basketball and girls softball coach with Plainview High School.
