Mamou police report seven recent arrests

The Mamou Police Department reported seven recent bookings into the town jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Karen Thomas, 19, 521 East St., Apt. 4, Mamou, was charged March 17, with disturbing the peace by fighting.
•Terence Ashley Holmes, 480 Snooks Rd., Ville Platte, was charged March 17, with driving with a suspended license.
•Woodrow William, 44, 1120 Oak St., Mamou, wass charged March 18, with domestic abuse battery and second degree battery. William was transferred to the parish jail.
•Shaunia Trimble, 22, 1012 Hickory St., Mamou, was charged March 19, with theft. Trimble bonded out of jail the same day.
•Michael Vance Prima, 33, 2589 St. Landry Highway, St. Landry, was charged March 20, with careless operation and stop sign violation (four counts).
•Victoria Douget, 504 Fourth St., Mamou, was charged March 19, with disturbing the peace by language.
•Murray C. Morgan Jr., 30, 1608 Laurie St., Rayne, was charged March 20, with a suspended affidavit.
