Sweet potato soufflé, homemade brownies and lemon supreme are just a few of the dishes that will be found on Evangeline Parish tables this Thanksgiving.
Here, three local women share their favorite Thanksgiving recipes along with their holiday plans.

The Mamou Police Department is hosting a Toys For Tots drive now through the week of Christmas.
Captain Stephanie Ortego said, “This program is great to help people in need. We have many needy families in the parish.”
Several area veterans visited Vidrine Elementary School on Thursday during the school’s Veterans Day celebration.
Principal Sherral Tezeno said, “Freedom is not free. These people made sacrifices. Not only did they, but their families, and their lives are changed forever.”
Sacred Heart Catholic School is hosting a shoe drive of new and used, wearable shoes now through Monday, December 5.
