First Baptist Church Cookoff set

The First Baptist Church in Ville Platte will be hosting a cookoff Sunday, November 3, at 815 Chicot Park Road. Cooking begins at 11:30 a.m.
New this year will be a kid’s cooking competition for children aged eight to 11 and 12 to 15.
Individuals or groups can enter in the following categories: Beef, Pork, Poultry, Seafood, Wild Game and Soups or Gumbos. Food can be prepared any way on site (please cook rice at home).
This event is open to the public and there is no charge to attend and free food and fun will be offered.
