LPB to air live coverage of governor's address to legislature

Louisiana Public Broadcasting will provide live coverage of Governor Bobby Jindal’s address to the regular session of the Legislature Monday, March 31, at 1 p.m. on the six-channel LPB network and WLAE-TV32 in New Orleans.

Louisiana: The State We’re In Managing Editor Robyn Ekings will anchor LPB’s coverage with commentary from Council for a Better Louisiana (CABL) President/CEO Barry Erwin. Streaming video of the speech can also be viewed on the LPB website (www.lpb.org).

Monday will be the first day of LPB’s daily legislative reports. Capitol Beat will air every weekday at 6:57 p.m. and 9:57 p.m. and 5:27 a.m. the next morning on the LPB network. Louisiana: The State We’re In’s Robyn Ekings and Charlie Whinham will host the report throughout the Legislative session. It will feature highlights from the day’s activities at the state capitol. Louisiana: The State We’re In will feature a wrap up of the week at the Legislature Fridays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
