MAMOU – Visitation for Robert S. Cole will be at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. Minister Tyler Saucier will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
Cole, 37, a resident of Mamou, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Cole was an avid hunter and fisherman, especially with his two boys, brother and father. He loved spending time at his camp with his family. Cole will be remembered as someone who was always joking around with a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jessica Cole; sons, Nicholas and Nathan Cole; brother, Randall Cole and wife, Adrian Cole; father, Bobby Cole; mother, Debbie Caudle; grandmother, Wylene Cole; aunt, Sharon Smith; sisters-in-law, Monica, Kristie and Kimberly; and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leroy Cole; and maternal grandparents, Archie Caudle and Emily Caudle.
Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou is in charge of arrangements.
