Mr. Soileau, Miss DeBlieux plan June nuptials

The engagement of Miss Melanie Annette DeBlieux to Mr. Michael Anthony Soileau, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Anthony Soileau of Ville Platte, has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Anthony DeBlieux of Natchitoches.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Natchitoches.
Miss DeBlieux is the granddaughter of Genevieve Smith, the late Thomas K. Smith, Martha Carson, the late Alvin James DeBlieux and Janice DeBlieux.
A graduate of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, she received a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer sciences with a minor in consumer services. She is currently employed at the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, Youth Services Division.
Mr. Soileau is the grandson of the late Donald and Winnie Soileau and the late Percy and Gloria Tate.
He is currently employed with the Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.
