Mamou police report five recent arrests

The Mamou Police Department reported five recent bookings into the town jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Dewayne Thomas, 22, 522 East St., Mamou, was charged March 11, with simple battery. Thomas bonded out of jail the same day.
•Cheryl Lee Jason, 53, 319 Railroad St., Mamou, was charged March 13, with remaining after being forbidden. Jason bonded out of jail the same day.
•Crystal Brown, 20, 1640 Cajun Drive, Apt. 76, was charged March 22, with domestic abuse battery. Brown was transferred to the parish jail.
•Anthony Herbert, 22, 1640 Cajun Drive, Apt. 76, was charged March 22, with domestic abuse battery. Herbert was transferred to the parish jail.
•Ashley Lee Lefleur, 20, 513 Maple St., Mamou, was charged March 22, with simple battery. Lafleur bonded out of jail the same day.
