MAMOU -- The Mamou Demons and Lady Demons hosted the Pine Prairie Panthers and Lady Panthers here Tuesday night in a very important tune-up before district play gets into full swing.

Battle tested

PRAIRIE RHONDE -- The schedule for both the Ville Platte High Bulldogs and the Lady Bulldogs has been monstrous.
But, both teams have faced some of the best programs in the state and have weathered the storm.

Pine Prairie boys and girls grind out wins on back-to-back nights

The Pine Prairie boys and girls basketball teams took to the hardwood on Tuesday and Wednesday nights for a couple of non-district games against St. Edmund’s and Kinder.

Lady Demons stay in Holiday Tourney; Demons lose out

PRAIRIE RHONDE -- The Mamou Lady Demons took care of business on Wednesday, blasting the Broadmoor Lady Buccaneers 52-14 to advance to the consolation finals of the Northwest Raider Holiday Tournament.

Tough competition

PRAIRIE RHONDE -- It has been a tough ride for both the Ville Platte Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs in the Northwest Raider Holiday Tournament, having to face some of the toughest competition from around the state.
