PINE PRAIRIE -- It was deja vu all over again for the Pine Prairie Panthers in 2016, with one exception.
BASILE – No one in Bearcat country was happy with Basile’s 3-8 finish last football season.
The Bearcats had three straight quarterfinal appearances and were 31-5 from 2013 to 2015.
The Sacred Heart starting defensive unit works on the game plan for their scheduled scrimmage against Bunkie. It has been a tremendous run for Pine Prairie native Julia Johnson.
The upcoming college freshman (technically a sophomore) has enjoyed a tremendous last three years on the golf course, playing in some of the most prestigious tournaments throughout the country.

As a freshman football player three years ago, Kendall Ardoin came into the Tulane program like a deer caught in headlights.
