A long hard court season turned into a huge success for Evangeline Parish high school basketball.
KINDER – Coming into the Kinder Tournament this past weekend, the Pine Prairie Lady Panther softball team had only dropped two games out of the first eight played. And, both of those losses came to softball powerhouses Acadiana and North Vermilion.
OAKDALE – The Sacred Heart Lady Trojan softball team was looking to expand their record this past weekend as they participated in the Oakdale Invitational Tournament.
OPELOUSAS – It was not the best of days for the Ville Platte Bulldog baseball team, as they dropped a 12-2 decision to the Opelousas Tigers here Monday afternoon.
